New class schedules coming soon....
Now that we officially received a 1-year extension for the EDA grant, which has been providing free PLC, Robotics, MSSC, CNC & Hybrid vehicles, we are finalizing the schedule for classes starting October 24th in the North and East region of our district.
There will be:
two - PLCs for Industrial Automation - level 2 classes (Waterloo & Portage)
two - Robotics for Industrial Automation - level 1 classes (Waterloo)
one - Robotics for Industrial Automation - level 2 class (Portage)
Please refer to our website for general info and our schedules page for updates.
If you'd like to sign up for any classes or want detailed class schedules, location and availability, please contact Claudette Zweifel - email in our office or call 608-243-4466.
And don't forget to sign up for available College certificates in Automated Manufacturing and Advanced Automated Manufacturing. It just takes a few classes to earn a certificate, that will you set up apart from other applicants when applying for a job!

National Robot Safety conference 2012
Look for my report from the NSRC 2012 in Indianapolis.
Very interesting and important information on the new RIA R15.06-201x robotics standard and how it might affect your job!
EDA grant extended!
We just received confirmation from the federal project manager at the EDA that our 1-year extension was approved.
This means we'll be able to continue to offer free Robotics and PLC classes through the Summer of 2013.
Stay tuned for new schedules coming in a few weeks or check out
